Macmillan Cancer Support
Ever since the group was set up, we have had very strong links with Macmillan Cancer Support and in fact have two volunteers who are trained to deliver the HOPE Programme. We are listed in the Macmillan Support Groups and also link to the Welfare Benefits team locally as well as signposting group members to their services and literature on a regular basis

Maggie’s Cardiff
Before COVID we were fortunate enough to hold our Support Group, Arts & Crafts and our Choir the Ray of Light Warblers at Maggie’s Cardiff.

Wales Cancer Alliance
During the Covid-19 Pandemic the support we offered had to be adapted to provide our services remotely and liaised with Wales Cancer Alliance providing support remotely.

Velindre Cancer Centre
We have strong links with Velindre Cancer Centre where we held our monthly support groups and choir for carers since 2010. They have continued to support us and signpost our services.

We have particularly close working partnerships with Velindre and Maggie’s who provide pro bono venue support for our group meetings, in buildings which are easily accessible by our beneficiaries.
Carers Wales
