This group combines the concept that art and mindfulness can stimulate the brain to help alleviate the symptoms of anxiety, stress and depression. It can also help to build self-esteem. When someone you care about has cancer everything can feel overwhelming and this takes a huge toll on your wellbeing. Mindfulness can help you understand and process your feelings so you can be there to support them.
On this course you will learn basic mindfulness techniques in combination with giving you the opportunity to express yourself artistically – although no skills or talent are required!
Each session is different and there is no start or finish date, so just join in whenever you want to start your mindfulness journey, relax, breathe and express.
